‘Take what it feels like today then add about 4°C’: Heatwave to worsen

Brisbane was expected to reach 34 degrees on Wednesday, but Mr Claassen said humidity would make it feel “more like 36 or 37”.

“Ipswich looks like it will get up to 42 degrees on Wednesday, which for them will be 11 degrees above their average. Their average is 30.9 [degrees] in December.”
