Have you seen this plant?

This is Cha-om. It’s also known as sewerage plant and is a prohibited invasive plant in Queensland. If you have seen it growing, please call the Department of Agriculture and Fishereies (DAF), ASAP on 13 25 23.

It’s a shrub, grows up to 5m tall and can climb and scramble like a vine. It has scattered prickles along its branchlets and stems, and has yellow-cream flowers and flattened pods. It also has a very strong odour (hence the nickname).
