Brisbane bus drivers exposed to chroming fumes prompts plea

There have been 23 reports of so-called “volatile substance abuse,” or chroming, on Brisbane’s bus network so far this year, including two incidents in the past week in which drivers were reportedly affected by fumes.Despite eating food and drink on trains and buses or playing music on railway platforms being made illegal by the State Government, chroming hasn’t been outlawed on public transport.It’s led the head of Brisbane’s Public and Active Transport Committee, councillor…
